Schor spotlights contributions of notable Hispanic Americans

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Schor Middle School celebrated the contributions of notable Hispanic Americans and their lasting contributions to society!

Throughout the month, students representing Central America, South America, and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean delivered morning announcements, introducing themselves in Spanish and sharing inspiring facts. They highlighted figures such as NASA astronaut Franklin Chang-Díaz, fashion designer Carolina Herrera, and tech entrepreneur Luis von Ahn.

Thanks to Spanish teacher Jessica Corrales for organizing this initiative, which integrated student leadership and cultural appreciation.
