The Student Government at Schor Middle School worked together to ensure that members of our local community had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner! Over about three weeks, the students collected and counted Thanksgiving-themed food items donated by students throughout the school. The food drive was a tremendous success, enabling Schor Student Government to help 14 local families to celebrate a plentiful and enjoyable Thanksgiving. The homeroom that donated the most items was rewarded with a Munchkin breakfast in recognition of students’ effort and generosity. The Schor Student Government is under the guidance of language arts teacher Brian Hornlein.
