Schor Middle School students got a diverse and in-depth look at career options at the school’s annual Career Day on Friday, March 28! Over 60 distinguished presenters – including parents, friends, children of employees, and community members – volunteered to showcase their jobs and companies. They included a NASA scientist, a Broadway costumer and set builder, finance and business professionals, chefs, a comedian, a judge and other court employees, a NJ State Police trooper, an interior designer, a dancer, and an actress. Students moved from class to class with an opportunity to hear talks and try hands-on activities throughout the day. Students were excited to learn about careers that they had never considered or even heard of and now have new possibilities for their future. The event, which has been held annually for more than 10 years, was organized by school counselors Uma Patel and Nancy Arvizzigno. #PwayLearns #PwayInspires
