Schor Middle School students got a diverse and in-depth look at career options at the school’s annual Career Day on Friday, March 28! Over 60 distinguished presenters – including parents, friends, children of employees, and community members – volunteered to showcase their jobs and companies. They included a NASA scientist, a Broadway costumer and set builder, finance and business professionals, chefs, a comedian, a judge and other court employees, a NJ State Police trooper, an interior designer, a dancer, and an actress. Students moved from class to class with an opportunity to hear talks and try hands-on activities throughout the day. Students were excited to learn about careers that they had never considered or even heard of and now have new possibilities for their future.
